An Ocean of Wire Crochet in Macro Photography

A perfect time to check out macro photography in a great restaurant setting. Our art group, One Little ‘Island’ Artist Collective, had a great opening night at Square Barrels. A great crowd of friends, family, and art lovers converged to make for a successful Opening Reception.

Thank You very much to so many who stopped in last night. The show will be up through, Thursday, July 14.

This was my first jump into the world of photography, specifically macro photography and I am really happy with the results. Finding the option to take my 3D wire crochet sculpture work into the 2D world without losing that metal element of my work has been the perfect solution. Each macro photo in the pre-opening photo is 20″ x 20″ printed on aluminum.
