10 Days until Contact 2016 Opening, March 24

Baby fresh greens are being created today. On the Philodendron, new leaves begin a paler green and unroll themselves when they are ready to face the hot tropical sunshine.

Created using 24 gauge colored copper wire, the baby leaves are then curled and wired into the roll.

Largest leaves are designed using 18 and 20 gauge wire.  The larger the leaf, the older it is and the more intense the coloring patterns. These leaves also have the largest and most numerous splits.
