Baby fresh greens are being created today. On the Philodendron, new leaves begin a paler green and unroll themselves when they are ready to face the hot tropical sunshine.
Largest leaves are designed using 18 and 20 gauge wire. The larger the leaf, the older it is and the more intense the coloring patterns. These leaves also have the largest and most numerous splits.
To see the completed project, stop by the Honolulu Museum of Art School, 2nd Floor, starting March 24th.
